Folkestone and A Flavour of France

Folkestone has much to offer - many places of historic and cultural interest plus shopping centres, boutiques, traditional shops, seaside and country markets. It also makes a great base for an exciting excursion programme. Canterbury offers the perfect blend of city and countryside. Hastings is a cosmopolitan coastal town and lies between the rugged beauty of the East and West Hills and has recently been at the heart of the smash hit ITV wartime drama series 'Foyle's War' which is both set and shot in the town. Brighton offers a rich mix of Regency heritage, boutique shopping and arts and beachfront cool. Boulogne is France's biggest fi shing port and attractive seaside resort. We also include a visit to Chatham and an optional Leeds Castle guided tour.

Day 1 - Folkestone. Journey to your hotel. Included dinner at your hotel. Included dinner plus free two hour bar at your hotel.
Day 2 - Canterbury. Included full day excursion to Canterbury.
Day 3 - France. A full day excursion including time in Boulogne and a shopping visit to Calais
Day 4 - Hastings & Brighton. Included full day excursion.Optional Wine Tasting. Return in time for dinner
Day 5 - Chatham. After breakfast we depart our hotel for a visit to Chatham before commencing our journey home

You will stay four nights at the Britannia Burstin Hotel in Folkestone. This 3-star standard hotel has well-furnished en-suite bedrooms as well as a bar and a restaurant. Breakfast and dinner will be included throughout your stay. The hotel offers an entertainment programme.
